Obomate Briggs is a trainee video producer for New Scientist and was previously the social video intern. She has a BSc in Chemistry from Nottingham Trent University and an MSc in Science Communication from University College London. An aspiring multimedia journalist with an interest in culture and society, she is a winner of the 2024 Rising Star category at the AOP Digital Publishing awards.
