Thomas Lewton is a features editor at New Scientist, based in London. He writes about cosmology, neuroscience, particle physics and the politics of science. He is also co-editor of Eco-Bot.Net where he investigates climate change disinformation and corporate greenwashing. His feature articles, investigations and short films have been published by The Guardian, TIME, Wired, Quanta, the BBC, Scientific American and VICE, among others. In 2017, he won a European Journalism Centre innovation in development reporting award. He was the researcher for the book Seven Elements That Have Changed the World, which was shortlisted for the Royal Society Winton prize. He has a master’s degree in physics from the University of Oxford and another in science communication from Imperial College London.
