I recently watched Nimona, the Netflix movie adapted from ND Stevenson’s graphic novel. It’s set in a futuristic world with medieval aesthetics: subways, flying cars and pizza sit alongside suits of armour and wimples.
Nimona (pictured above) is a shapeshifter. But as she tells us – flashing between being a shark, a fox, a squirrel and a girl – she isn’t a girl, she’s Nimona.
